A Young Woman Engages In Hazardous And Heavy Drinking And Finds Superior Help At An Alcohol Rehab Center For Alcohol Withdrawals And Symptoms Of Alcoholism

Beth was the mother of three children. Beth had been feeling quite nervous lately and began to "medicate" herself by drinking a few wine coolers every evening after she put her children to bed. After roughly ten weeks of this drinking routine, she finally realized that rather than helping her "lighten up" and "muddle through" her difficulties, drinking made her feel less rested when she awakened in the morning. This, in turn, made her feel even more anxious throughout the .

After reflecting on her "condition" for several days, Beth decided to "open up" about her problem drinking with her closest friend. In fact, about twenty minutes into their discussion, Beth's best friend Hailie, told her about a very knowledgeable and competent psychiatrist at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment center. After talking to her friend, Beth without much ado got encouraged to call the rehab facility and schedule an appointment.

Ten days later she finally got to meet the physician her best friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth told the doctor that ever since she and her ex-husband divorced one another, she has been struggling financially, emotionally, and spiritually.

As Beth was talking to the physician, she stressed the point that she really believed that she and her ex-husband waited long enough to know one another good enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, on the other hand, their relationship appeared to fall apart. Moreover, both Robert and she began to drink, and their careless and excessive drinking negatively affected their finances, their relationship, and their love for one another.

The physician explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been going through are due to her careless drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the common symptoms of alcoholism and that the best solution for this state of affairs is alcohol treatment.

After spending six months in inpatient alcohol rehab, Beth was little by little able to comprehend the fact that the real origin of her anxiety and her depression was that she had not gotten to the bottom of her spiteful feelings she has for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In short, Beth let these feelings upset her to such an extent that she became an alcohol dependent individual.

With these insights and with the meds her psychiatrist prescribed, she eventually quit drinking, she began to feel much less depressed, and she started making more time for social events with her friends and family. Not only this but a few months after receiving therapy from her physician, began to date once again.

It was clear that Beth had come a long way. In point of fact, just about eight months after she stopped her treatment, Beth had finally laid the harmful thoughts of Robert, her former husband, to rest and was beginning to feel better about herself and more spiritually"alive" and emotionally "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
